While there's little danger of the world forgetting
Beyonce -- the rare pop star famous enough to
inspire her own college course -- Armdeonce Ventures isn't taking any chances. As My Fox Houston reports, the company is looking to
build a monument to the singer in her Texas hometown, and if all goes according to plan, the grand unveiling could come in September -- just in time for Bey's 31st birthday.
"We've gotten support from the city of Houston, from the mayor," said Marcus Mitchell, who along with partner Steve White is spearheading the effort. "We're waiting for a very nice letter from the mayor right now."
The plan calls for a "massive hall" and "mini museum" -- complete with video and memorabilia -- devoted to Beyonce and her former group,
Destiny's Child.
